Beutezeit is a German company which provides a subscription-based supply of BARF dog food. Their simple presentation website was transformed into a modern, informative and functional online shop.


The Challenge

Many choose BARF over normal dry dog food because of health advantages. Beutezeit had only a very simple website before, and it needed an online shop to sell its products.

Since BARF dog food is a consumable and a niche product, customers tend to stay loyal to brands they are already purchasing from. New customers need to be informed of the benefits of BARF and semi-BARF foods.

As Beutezeit products come in four types of packaging ranging from 100g to 600g, we needed to find a way to make it easier for customers to make their purchasing decisions.


We created a WooCommerce-based online shop for Beutezeit. Customers can choose from a variety of products with different ingredient components and package sizes. They can also choose whether to purchase once or on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis. The one-time and subscription options enable customers to try out the products, and in the future not to worry about running out of food.

We also created a handy function on the website which is a dog food calculator. Customers simply need to input the breed, age, weight and other basic information of their dog, they then will receive the recommended product or product menu.
